DailyFocus ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Information We Collect

• Account information: name, email, optional profile photo
• Usage data: tasks created, completions, progress stats
• Approximate location (optional): for weather background
• Health/fitness data (optional): steps and distance for activity tracking
• Device identifiers: push notification token

How We Use Data

• Provide core app features (tasks, reminders, stats, groups)
• Personalize the experience
• Send notifications and reminders
• Improve performance and reliability

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Data may be processed by trusted service providers (e.g., Firebase, Google Play Services) solely to operate the app.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your personal and account data (including email address, tasks, habits, and progress logs) as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time directly within the app (Profile → Delete account). Upon request, your data is permanently deleted from our active databases. Residual backups of the database may be retained for up to 30 days for disaster recovery and security purposes, after which they are permanently deleted.

Data Security

We use industry-standard security practices and encrypt data in transit.

• Edit your profile and settings
• Disable notifications
• Delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete account)
